Cherry Blossom & Goat Milk Soap

This soap is inspired by the gorgeous Sakura tree in front of our house! I love this soap’s traditional cherry blossom scent and creamy, nourishing lather. I wanted to make a soap that celebrates our beautiful tree, so I used the “secret feather swirl” soap technique to produce the pink flowers and green leaves inside the loaf. I made the pink cherry blossoms on top with soap dough, and piped soap frosting to make the leaves and branches. I am thrilled with how this soap turned out. I use fresh goat milk from Sunny Cove Farm in this recipe, which is available especially in the spring when the baby goats are born!

Every soap I make is unique, made by hand, and inspired by nature. I love making (and using) this soap, not only because of the earthy, local, and organic ingredients, but because of what is NOT in it. This soap does NOT have harsh detergents, synthetic lathering agents, phthalates, or parabens, which makes it gentle and perfect for sensitive skin.

TIP: To extend the life of your soap, keep it on a draining soap dish and dry it off between uses. If you purchase 5 or more bars, I will give you a free soap dish!

No two bars are alike, as each is made in small batches and hand-cut. Your soap bar will weigh approximately 3-4 ounces.

Ingredients: Saponified organic olive oil, unrefined coconut oil, shea butter, palm oil, castor oil, cocoa butter, liquid silk, sweet almond oil, grassfed tallow & lard, fragrance oil, coconut milk powder, skin-safe micas, and fresh local goat milk from Sunny Cove Farm.
