I have fallen in love with a plant growing in my backyard. Wild-harvested stinging nettle (urtica dioica), when boiled, is not only a delicious vitamin-rich green food, but is a powerhouse ingredient in skincare! Nettle naturally has soothing and anti-inflammatory properties, which I noticed immediately after I boiled the young leaves and was squeezing them to get all the infused water into a receptacle to use in this soap! After I touched the boiled leaves, my hands felt so soft and happy.

This soap is also special because I added genuine polished amethyst gemstones to the top! Purple and green are my favorite color combinations -- the amethyst adds a gorgeous natural purple to the green of the soap, and you can keep the gemstone forever. Metaphysical folks think amethyst has spiritual properties and increase feelings of tranquility and relaxation.

This Soothing Nettle soap is also packed with skin-loving ingredients like raw shea butter, babassu oil, and French green clay. Scented with an essential oil blend of bergamot, eucalyptus, and spearmint, this green soap smells like a walk through an herb garden!

Every soap I make is unique, made by hand, and inspired by nature. I love making (and using) this soap, not only because of the earthy, local, and organic ingredients, but because of what is NOT in it. This soap does NOT have harsh detergents, synthetic lathering agents, phthalates, or parabens, which makes it gentle and perfect for sensitive skin.

TIP: To extend the life of your soap, keep it on a draining soap dish and dry it off between uses. If you purchase 5 or more bars, I will give you a free soap dish!

No two bars are alike, as each is made in small batches and hand-cut. Your soap bar will weigh approximately 3-4 ounces.

Ingredients: Saponified organic coconut oil, olive oil, canola oil, raw shea butter, sweet almond oil, stinging nettle-infused water, babassu oil, castor oil, Vitamin E, and French green clay, chrome oxide, wild harvested stinging nettle, lemon balm, spearmint, and a blend of bergamot, mint, and eucalyptus essential oils. Topped with genuine polished amethyst.
