Avocado & Spearmint Soap

Avocados are amazing. Not only are they delicious, but they are full of oils and vitamins that are great for your skin! Avocados naturally create an incredibly moisturizing, restorative, and gentle soap. I adore this soap because it has SO MUCH AVOCADO in it, including fresh avocado purée, avocado oil, as and creamy avocado butter.

Spearmint is also a skin-loving natural ingredient that works well in soap! Spearmint is cleansing and antibacterial, but is also known for its ability to soothe and refresh tired skin. I also just love the way spearmint smells – like a walk through my backyard, which goes wild with spearmint plants during warm seasons! I infuse organic olive oil with dried locally-grown organic spearmint leaves, which helps make this soap especially nice. This 100% natural soap is one of my all-time favorites, and one I like to give out as free samples because it exemplifies how skin-loving natural handmade soap can be! I hot process this soap and use French green clay and spirulina powder to give it a gorgeous all-natural dark green color.

Every soap I make is unique, made by hand, and inspired by nature. This soap is 100% made from natural and/or organic ingredients. I love making (and using) this soap, not only because of the earthy, local, and organic ingredients, but because of what is NOT in it. This soap does NOT have harsh detergents, synthetic lathering agents, phthalates, or parabens, which makes it gentle and nourishing for sensitive skin.

TIP: To extend the life of your soap, keep it on a draining soap dish and dry it off between uses.

No two bars are alike, as each is made in small batches and hand-cut. Your soap bar will weigh approximately 3-4 ounces.
