I have fallen in love with SALT SOAP! I especially love this soap because the scent of sweet orange essential oil is one of the best smells in the universe – uplifting and like a ray of sunshine. Salted Sweet Orange is a delightful soap for those who love real citrus scents and love the “spa experience” that essential oil salt soaps can provide!

SALT SOAP: What makes salt soap so special?
Natural salt has long been a magical ingredient in skincare because of its ability to detoxify, polish, and soften your skin. Two of my favorite kinds of salt to use in soap are Celtic sea salt and Himalayan pink salt. They make for a rock-hard soap bar that produces a dense, creamy lather that feels luxurious. The lotion-like lather from a salt soap makes you feel like you are being pampered at a seaside resort! Salt soap’s creamy lather, in addition to the gentle exfoliation from the wee salt crystals, makes salt soap feel like a “spa day” for your skin.

This Salted Sweet Orange Soap is naturally light orange from the orange essential oil and the Celtic sea salt. Scented with an essential oil blend of sweet orange and litsea cubeba, this soap naturally has a sweet citrus scent that I absolutely adore.
Have you heard of the litsea cubeba plant? Sometimes known as “may chang,” “aromatic litsea” or “mountain pepper,” litsea cubeba is a flowering fruit tree that has been used in Chinese medicine and as a spice in traditional Taiwanese cuisine for centuries. Litsea Cubeba has a sweet, tangy citrus scent that aromatherapists go wild for! I adore the scent of sweet orange essential oil, but it is hard to get that gorgeous scent to “stay” after the soapmaking process. One great way to help sweet orange essential oil’s scent “stick” is to mix it with litsea cubeba essential oil, which is another sweet and beautiful citrus essential oil. Together, they smell soooo good.

This Sweet Orange Salt Soap is packed with other skin-loving ingredients like raw shea butter, aloe vera juice, avocado oil, and organic unrefined coconut oil. The soap smells like REAL oranges because it is made with actual distillation and extraction of citrus plants! I’ve been making soap with ONLY essential oils lately. Every essential oil soap celebrates the power of nature.

100% Natural Ingredients: Saponified organic coconut oil, raw shea butter, avocado oil, castor oil, aloe vera juice, Celtic Sea Salt, and a blend of sweet orange & litsea cubeba essential oils.

No two bars are alike, as each is made in small batches and hand-cut. Your soap bar will weigh approximately 3-4 ounces.

Every soap I make is unique, made by hand, and inspired by nature. I love making (and using) this soap, not only because of the earthy, local, and organic ingredients, but because of what is NOT in it. This soap does NOT have harsh detergents, synthetic lathering agents, phthalates, or parabens, which makes it gentle and perfect for sensitive skin.

TIP: To extend the life of your soap, keep it on a draining soap dish and dry it off between uses. If you purchase 5 or more bars, I will give you a free soap dish!
